Hay!
I almost missed this one:
To horse
Gold watches? Nay. But there will be plenty of carrots and apples at tomorrow afternoon's retirement party at 76 Carriage Co. in the Northern Liberties section. Three horses, who've schlepped tourists and romantics through historic-district traffic for at least 15 years, are moving to a 155-acre farm in Upstate New York, owned by the family of driver Sandy Beare. Theo, 25, Scooby, 23, and Commanche, 20, are in good health and had to retire together, explains Philadelphia Trolley Works' Linda Kramer: "They've been together for a really long time. They're a family." They're also semifamous, having turned up in the shot-in-Philly movies Beloved and The Age of Innocence.
